First, let me express my sincere gratitude in your interest in the Capital Tuk-Tuk story. Before coming to the US, I lived in Sri Lanka, where I rode in Tuk-Tuks all the time! The island was full of them, and the day my father bought one was one of the most exciting days of my life. My siblings and I got in and we rode around town feeling like royalty. It was one of the best memories I have of my childhood.
Fast forward to 2015, I moved to Sacramento and absolutely fell in love with this city. The people here have so much heart and was always willing to support one another. I knew right away I wanted to start my journey in entrepreneurship here. I wanted to start a business that would feature the best things about Sacramento and give me an opportunity to honor my Sri Lankan roots.
Capital Tuk-Tuk has since become the best way to do all of these things. I am excited for all of the support we have received and continue to receive from this city and elsewhere. We have a lot more to do in making sure we bring the best experience to you all, and we appreciate you following along on this journey.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and let's keep on tukkin!Manushi Weerasinghe
